The 21st IBB Ladies Open Championship, which teed off yesterday, holds the key to the aspirations of many Nigerian women golfers. She disclosed that 160 ladies are billed to compete in the three-day event out of the 260 players listed for the tournament. But I hope at the end of this tournament, some of the ladies will be ranked. The ceremonial tee-off was expected to be conducted by Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung yesterday at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja. According to the programme, ladies in the Handicap 0- 28 flight and veteran players within Handicap 0-36 will take to the course today.
